Florida Artist's World Starts Today

Florida Artist's World is an online magazine, blog and website that begins publishing today. Our focus is any and everything to do with the visual arts produced in the state of Florida. Our articles will include reviews of all the art museums, galleries, shows and events we can cover from all over the state. In addition, we will feature articles and interviews with artists as well as an online gallery where artwork can be purchased.
I am Laurence Fosgate, editor and publisher. In addition to being a Florida artist and designer for my entire life, I am publisher of Florida Life and Times and Garden Monkey Blogs as well as the Landscapes Orlando Florida and Florida Garden Gallery Websites. My colleagues in this enterprise are David Ohman, a student at Winter Park High School and budding young artist and Stephen Kerry, originally of Atlanta Georgia, resident of Orlando for the last five years and also an aspiring artist and writer. Our first articles are going to be focused on the Orlando area, to be followed by Miami. Eventually, all areas of the state will have been included and in addition to Orlando and Miami, we have strong connections to the Tampa Bay, Sarasota and Jacksonville areas. Our subject area is immense and since new work is forever being produced, our job will never be done, but we will sure have fun trying to keep up with it.
